Visited with friends for a weeks skiing. We stayed in room 202, my wife and I in a large family room with two bathrooms, excellent facilities, plenty of room for ski gear, boots and evening wear. The hotel bar area was relatively small, but very comfortable. A little overly hot on occasions but soft chairs enabled us to relax and play games. The bar prices are very reasonable, a beer or g&t cost €5, a bottle of red €23. Snacks are in plentiful supply around the bar all evening. The restaurant area is very intimate and the food varied and tasty. Four courses for the evening meal, generally very good but not a great selection for vegetarians. Salad, pasta, main and dessert, served between 7.30 and 8.30 daily. The salad course is a la carte, and is supplied on the basis of numbers in the hotel. Our experience was that if you are late to the restaurant there won’t be a lot of selection left as individuals took a bit more than their fair share! BUT…… plentiful food for the other courses, so not a major problem. Breakfast is fabulous and also a la carte, but a very wide choice and the opportunity to cook your own bacon and eggs on a small stove. You can have just about anything you might desire. Best I have ever experienced. A word on the service too….. very friendly and efficient and a great local red wine…Torrette, highly recommended. The hotel is well located next to the river that runs through the middle of the town, and a 10 minute walk to the Crest lift. We have stayed in four of the hotels in the resort including a four star, but this was the best value for money by far….Highly recommended, and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Really lovely hotel in a great location, next to a very pretty river and easy access to the ski lift in the morning. It was fantastic for the kids, we had a really spacious family room which slept 5 of us very comfortably.
The hot tub (which need to be booked and paid for separately) was a treat.
Food was fantastic, thanks for a great stay!

We had a great room and we loved our stay in Champoluc. Fantastic location, only 5 mins walk up to the ski lockers and lifts. Nice lounge area. Manager and staff were really friendly. We are both vegetarians but we didn’t pre-warn the hotel so our choice of menu was limited. This is not a criticism of the hotel, just a pointer to other vegetarians to let Ski2 know before you travel. We cannot wait to go back next year. Champoluc is lovely.

We had a wonderful stay at the Bellevue. We’re a family of 6 with 4 children and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly and helpful staff.
The food was excellent with the best buffet style breakfast we’ve ever had on a ski holiday. Evening meals were lovely with an earlier tea for the younger kids which worked brilliantly.
Cosy bar area and comfortable well equipped bedrooms.
Short 5 minute stroll to the ski lift and village.
Hotel right beside the river, very pretty.
    Would highly recommend.

A very comfortable family run hotel in an excellent location near the lifts and in the centre of town. The staff were very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. We had a very large comfortable room (all TV seemed to be Italian) with balcony and wonderful views. Food for breakfast and dinner was fine and dining room was cosy. Overall a good hotel for a weeks skiing

My seven year old son and I stayed for three nights. We had a room with two singles and a bunk bed. Nice lounge area, so very comfortable for us. Staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of comfort food to choose from. Once up the driveway to the main road it’s a gentle five minute stroll to the Ski2 office. Worked very well for us. Would choose it again.

5 night stay. Huge very comfortable room. Peace and quiet in a lovely relaxing hotel. Great location. Manager/owner and staff really friendly.
Bar/lounge very welcoming. Drinks cheaper than the local bars!
I would highly recommend and will gladly return.

Stayed for 5 nights in April 2018, booked 2 rooms. We loved this hotel, staff really helpful, great breakfasts, nice bar for the evenings, drinks seemed very cheap!
Rooms had everything you needed, plus a fridge and plenty of hanging space for ski gear .
Evening meals consisted of salad bar ( excellent ), pasta course, main course and pudding. Plus good choice of local wines.
We have stayed in more expensive hotels that haven’t been this good. Excellent value for money and we would recommend this lovely hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bellevue last week.
The accommodation was super. We had a large family room that was so big we didn’t use half of it!
The staff was incredibly kind and helpful.
Some friends joined us from Milan for the day and it was no problem for them to join us for dinner in the evening.
    The food was delicious.
I can’t wait to come back next year!

Just back from a lovely 3 night break at the Bellevue Hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful . Comfortable and spacious room with plenty of hot water and space to hang and dry ski wear if needed. The food was very good and there was plenty of it, extensive salad buffet followed by three courses. Lounge and bar area very warm and comfortable , with sofas and table and chairs for playing card games etc . Would highly recommend staying here and we wouldn’t hesitate to return .

Similar in most ways to the other hotels we have stayed at in Champoluc, i.e. very friendly, convenient, and home-cooked local food. There was a better-than-average breakfast, and a large and comfy lounge area with a bar. Our room itself was unremarkable but did the job, and there was always plenty of hot water (shower only, no bath).

We had a great time. The kids loved having the upstairs bed in our room and the room was very spacious, with a good size bathroom and powerful shower and also a good sized balcony. The lounge and bar areas were really nice and the kids loved the free bar snacks. The staff were all really friendly and helpful.

We have stayed in other hotel accommodation in Champoluc for over half a dozen years and in 2017 decided to stay at Hotel Bellevue. It proved to be an excellent choice. The hotel was warm and comfortable with plenty of sofas and armchairs by the bar and in other lounges. The food was plentiful and very well- presented with a varied menu. The bedroom was spacious with room to store and hang clothing and skiwear. The bathroom was roomy and the shower worked well with abundant hot water. The shower was in need of a refurbishment as the space had been invaded by a chair for the disabled which made the space a little cramped. The staff were wonderful and the management excellent. Very good value.

We really liked the Bellvue, it was small, comfortable and friendly. The bathrooms for the family rooms were tiny and only had showers. The hot tub overlooking the mountains was lovely and they do let children use it. The food was basic but fine. Our main complaint was they wouldn’t do a children’s supper earlier than 7pm; which was just too late for our 6 year olds.

  17. Heather Willson on 3rd April 2013

Good central location and very friendly staff.
Nice cosy bar/ lounge area though quite small.
Room was clean and comfortable with adequate shower room.
My only complaint was the food which was very basic.
Fresh fruit available in evening but not at breakfast
We went out for meal on last night.
I would recommend hotel but advise B&B

Good mid range hotel. We had a nice room. Hotel centrally located within the village. Friendly staff. A more imaginative dinner menu would be a big improvement, but overall we would recommend this hotel. We enjoyed our stay.
