Very nice stay at the L’Aiglon.
Nice rooms. I would only note that the shower was a bit small (90cm x 90) despite the bathroom being lovely and large and there being space for a larger or wider one. Also, although I love the dark wood the lighting can make it a little difficult to see esp in the wardrobe. Wifi good.
Staff fantastic esp in the bar/breakfast and very flexible with early packed breakfast on departure day.
Very well located hotel if you want to sample the restaurants in the evening and a short walk to the main lift. Love this resort.

We have just spent a lovely week at Hotel L’Aiglon. It is in a great location, just a short walk from the ski lift and shops. The rooms and common areas were clean and comfortable. The dinners were excellent and the food plentiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
My only improvement would be to the bathrooms, which were clean and modern, but there were no baths, and the toilets were unusually tall (my 4 year old couldn’t reach!).

We enjoyed our recent visit and found the hotel to be just what we needed. Warm, clean, and comfortable. It’s location is just a short walk from the Ski2 ski storage although the hotel has a store of its own with ski rack and boot warmers. We were able to park our 4×4 in the basement garage just make sure you take the roof box off as the door is fairly low! Access to this is via a steep incline and we needed snow chains to get up on our last morning due to the thaw/freeze conditions.
Bedrooms are spotlessly clean and the bathrooms are obviously new. They are thoroughly cleaned every day. Wardrobes and storage was a little limited in our room although the twin next door for our son and grandson had quite a bit more.
Breakfast was excellent, served as a buffet the choices were wide and varied.
The choice of evening meal was also very good choosing the next evenings meal the previous evening. They also let us choose alternatives for our fairly fussy 6 year old grandson. Four courses with the buffet starter being especially good. Just a little disappointed to have to pay for water with the meal.
You are able to store luggage and have a shower on your last day if you choose to ski on your last day. We luckily only found this out on the last day and I would have been good to have known earlier to allow us to plan our departure appropriately.
The lounge although comfortable could be a little more welcoming with maybe tea/coffee available.
    Overall thoroughly recommended.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.

A comfortable and very friendly family run hotel. All the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel is in an ideal location near to the center of the village so it is a very short walk to everything you need. It would be great to see more in the way of lounge area and access – and also for there to be more of a focus on the bar area at night – to maybe open that up longer and make it more inviting for guests at night. But overall a good experience.

The L’Aiglon lived up to its reputation as a clean, comfortable and friendly family run hotel. Buffet style breakfast and served dinner both offered a good variety of well-prepared, tasty food.

The bar closes a 8pm which is a drawback for a group wanting to socialise in the hotel after dinner and the wi-fi was unreliable. But these are relatively minor quibbles.

We were made to feel very welcome to return to the hotel, after signing out at the usual time in the morning, to pack and have a shower on our departure day without further charge. This gave us time to ski in the morning and some of the afternoon before leaving for the airport.
We would be happy to return to the L’Aiglon and I think that speaks for itself.

The hotel is spotlessly clean and, as others have mentioned, ideally situated. The self service breakfast was very good but we found the dinners unimaginative and disappointing. It should be made clearer on the website that there is no bar and that the lounge is just a couple of sofas near the reception area. The hotel is lacking in atmosphere and is a bit clinical (bright lights don’t help!). The wifi is frustrating – logging in each time and not being able to use it on more than one personal device is indeed archaic. That being said, the room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The couple who run the hotel were helpful and charming.

The hotel was clean, warm and welcoming and a perfect short walk’s distance from the main ski lift. our kids’ ages ranged from 4 to 13 and they absolutely loved the simple good italian food. As adults we found the dining room lacking in atmosphere (very bright lights and an “underground” feel) and we missed not having a lounge area for pre and post dinner drinks. The hot chocolates and the tea room were great for after skiing. The wifi system is archaic, you have to have an individual username and passcode and log in again every time you want to use it. They werent keen to give out multiple keys for the kids rooms – giving only 1 per room and would insist on coming up to the kids room to get them in, rather than giving them more than 1 key. It is a perfectly nice hotel, but i would say it is lacking in atmosphere and we were keen to eat at other restaurants in the evening (which made the half board deal not so attractive).

We stayed at L’Aiglon over half term (so Feb 15-22). The hotel worked very hard to make sure we were happy, and we had great attention from Paolo – the Sardinian non-skiing waiter!
Everyone was very accomodating and charming, and food pretty good.
Only comment is that there is no lounge area as such. There is the tea room and a few sofas in reception, but not really areas to sit and have a drink in pre-dinner, which was a bit of a downer for us. Nor were the kids allowed in the Spa, so meant they were slightly at a loose end between coming back from skiing and going to supper. This should be made clearer really.
Having said that, rooms all clean and comfortable, and the location is fantastic.

A very comfortable stay with a friendly and homely staff who looked after all our needs. The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished with luxurious shower room with little touches including soap, shampoo even a free shoe polish cloth. The new tea rooms add an extra special touch with amazing cakes, iceceams and a range of refreshments to welcome you home at the end of a tiring day. followed by the luxury of relaxing in the spa – hot tub, sauna, thunder show even a roll in the snow just to refresh.
The menu offers an excellent choice of Italian food – with aperitifes of a range of cold dishes self service ( and you can go back as many times as you like) then your first course follwed by main and dessert. The roast duck and roast pork were my favourites – cooked to perfection but you will need to leave room for the Itaian desserts.
The free wifi system ensures you can keep in touch with people in resort as well friends and family.
Located a short walk uphill to the ski hire and the main lift makes this hotel the ideal location for both the local bistros, restaurants and shops.
