A centrally positioned 4* hotel just off the main square in Champoluc, the Hotel Relais des Glaciers was constructed about 18 years ago and quickly became one of our most popular hotels.

The Hotel Relais des Glaciers offers a very good standard of accommodation, complemented by an extensive health complex, one of the best in the resort, which includes a sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and a Turkish bath. Unfortunately the health facilities are only available to those aged 16 and over.

There is also a large outdoor hot tub in the grounds with views up the Ayas Valley. The hot tub can be used by adults from 1000 to 2000 hours. Children younger than 16 can use the pool between 1000 and 1730 hours, but only when accompanied by an adult.

The Rooms

All of the 40 bedrooms have good sized en-suite bathrooms, TV and safe.

Mezzanine rooms vary in layout and size – some of these have the double bed on the lower level and the others have the double bed on the upper level. The beds for children may be of the type that fold up during the day to give more space in the room. Some of these rooms have balcony and two of the rooms have a bath, with shower over. The others have a walk-in shower. Please note that the hotel will not normally guarantee which of the rooms they will allocate until arrival, but we can accept requests at the time of booking.

The attractive spacious lounge area with sofas, comfortable chairs and a log fire is a popular meeting place for hotel guests before and after dinner.

Cold buffet breakfasts (cheese and cold meat, yoghurts, cereals and a selection of bread and pastries, plus choice of hot and cold drinks) and 4 course dinners (with choices at all courses) are taken in the attractive wood-paneled dining room.

Early dinner (normally at 1830 hours) can be arranged for younger guests, but must be pre-booked with the Ski 2 office.

Our second year at the Relais. This rustic styled hotel is always a winner. Within a 5-10 minute walk of the ski deposit & gondola it is perfect for families. The outdoor hot tub is a favourite with the kids, in fact I don’t think they’d let us stay anywhere else for that reason! I always enjoy the child free spa too, as a place to unwind after a day of skiing. The children’s tea at 6.30 is great (although 2 courses rather than 3 would probably mean less waste!) & a perfect way for them to get to know others in their ski group. It’s a sociable time for parents too. All in all we like the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere at this hotel.

Excellent hotel. Splendid room, genuinely good food for dinner. Good breakfast. Good lounges. And the trump card that really made our little boy love this hotel – the hot tub! Recommended.

We loved this hotel. The staff were really helpful and the food was outstanding. Eleanor and her team looked after us and our demanding group so well. Loved the hot tub! Sadly didn’t get to sample the Spa so we’ll just have to come back another year!

This is our fifth consequtive year staying at the Relais and we are booked in again for next year. The hotel is only a relatively short walk from the ski deposit which we find easily doable with our two children aged 6 and 8. The hot tub is a god send and I think one of the highlights for the children. The restaurant manager is so wonderful and is always happy to cater to our children’s tastes. We find the arrangement of kids tea earlier works very well as they would struggle to sit through the 4 course dinners. The spa always looks so wonderful but when the sun is shining and the skiing is so good we seem to run out of time. The only thing I would like would be some tea making facilities in the room but apart from that I think the Relais is an excellent hotel, friendly staff and we love coming each year.

Spent 5 excellent nights at this hotel. The staff were lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful.
Breakfast was very good, we did find the evening meals a little on the heavy side, maybe cut meals down to 3 courses rather than 4. The spa and outdoor tub were lovely at the end of a days skiing and we liked the walk up to the ski slopes and back down, especially as we didn’t have to carry skis or boots.

The room was snug so will choose a larger one next time. would recommend a massage, didn’t realise how tight my muscles were!!

Found; the alpine charm and comfort I’ve been searching for years! Fantastic spa facility, the biggest outdoor hot pool I’ve been in. Refreshing change to be located just beyond the center of town; nice short walk and leg stretch after a day’s skiing with skis and boots left in Ski2 storage by lift. Wonderful, tasty local food and wine. Lounge and bar have a cozy atmosphere. My room was a small double on second floor; bit of a squeeze to share.

This has been our best ski holiday ever, thanks in no small part to Le Relais. From the over-abundance of choice at breakfast to the casual, locally-sourced restaurant, to the super cozy bar and fantastic spa below, this place hit all the high notes. We loved the location as well, as it gave us a chance to walk through the town to and from the lift. On a scale of 1-10…. this one has 11.

The staff are lovely and the spa facilities a boon. Evenings in the comfortable, spacious lounge were as relaxing as ever. However, I’m not sure that the food is as good as it has been on our previous visits, and one of our bathrooms had smelly drains.

This is a lovely hotel with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. We were always made to feel welcome and important by all members of staff throughout the week. The breakfast options were fantastic and even catered for Gluten free etc.. The favourite for us was the Pancake machine – 2 pancakes freshly made in 60 seconds ! Evening meals were plentiful with 4 courses but we found some meals were very rich or with cheese sauces just a bit too much. That said, the restaurant manager was helpful in finding an alternative off menu if necessary! The Ragu dishes were delicious. The rooms we had were compact but did the job of a comfortable bed, en suite with shower & a small balcony. There was some noise from hallways & neighbours doorbells but it didn’t spoil the holiday at all. The hot tub outside was perfect to ease our aches away and the spa was lovely. We would definitely visit again and stay in this hotel.

  10. Hero Lomas on

We really liked this hotel in terms of location and the hot tub but felt that the evening meals really let it down. They would have been better concentrating on local ingredients and dishes rather than giving us squid and curried butter. The meat was also of poor quality. Breakfasts were good however and the salad bar was also good to fill up at when you didn’t like the main dishes.

We loved our stay at Hotel Relais des Glaciers, the staff were very friendly, the lobby and rooms were lovely and the spa was wonderful. The spa is expansive with a jacuzzi, outdoor heated pool, two steam rooms, two sauna’s and a relaxation area, as well as treatment rooms that you can book for a massage. The hotel is in a great location, about a 10 minute walk from the main lift and easily walkable to all the restaurants and bars. The bar and lobby were relaxing and cosy and had a nice atmosphere in the evening. The only thing that could have been a little better was the food. Breakfast was fine and had a good array and choice but supper could be better.

  12. Caroline on

The staff in this hotel were lovely, professional and just the right side of attentive after a long day skiing. There was always plenary of food and options for breakfast and the evening meal was 4 courses and more than enough.
We stayed in a mezzanine, split level room perfect for a couple. Ample storage space and the split level meant we could relax in a sofa area away from sleeping arrangements. It may not suit those that need to get up during the night as the bathroom’s on a different level to that of the bed.
The Ski2 storage facility at the base of the main lift meant it was an easy 10 min walk to the slope and a leisurely amble back via a bar (or two)

An excellent hotel, just on the periphery of the village but an easy 10mins walk to the lifts.
Staff are v helpful and friendly, particularly in the restaurant.
4 course meals each night were delicious, although I wails have appreciated hot veg with my main courses (there is a buffet of salad and cold veg available)
Our bedrooms were spotlessly clean and v comfy beds. We stayed outside school holidays so had a lovely quiet child-free week!
Perhaps the highlight is the spa facility with steam rooms and indoor & outdoor pools. We used the crushed ice down there to make ice packs for injured limbs!
    We would definitely return.

We’ve just come back from a great family hol in Champoluc – our children loved the Relais (especially the breakfast buffet and outdoor hot tub). The staff were very friendly – the karaoke “singer” was amusing (not his intention i’m sure!). The evening meals (and early tea option for children) worked well for us – although several courses every night was a bit too much, so we split up the week by eating out at some of the local restaurants (recommend “The Churen” for pizza, five minute walk).

This is a really excellent hotel. The staff are very friendly, the food is great and all locally sourced, and the mezzanine rooms are particularly good for families. Best of all is the huge outdoor hot tub, which is great for adults to relax, and kids to burn of their last bit of energy in, after a good days skiing.

  18. Tony Highland on

An absolutely stunning base for a ski trip to Champoluc. The facilities are fantastic, the spa is awesome and the staff are top quality, friendly and courteous. The bar area is very relaxing after a hard days skiing, and the prices are not over the top, so you can enjoy a celebratory drink or two! Some entertainment is provided at the hotel in the evenings by way of a Karaoke on Saturday and Tuesday, which whilst not everybody’s cup of tea does provide an element of fun, particularly if you are a fan of “Vic and Bob” .Whilst there I enjoyed a full body massage reasonable at 55 Euros for 50 minutes, and used the spa most evenings, complete with an internal jacuzzi with room for about 10 people, two sauna’s and two steam-rooms at varying heats. This is complemented by an outdoor jacuzzi under the stars which is at least twice the size and a great experience dwarfed by Champoluc’s surrounding mountains. The hotel is situated a short 10 minute walk from the lift, although SKI 2 will pick you up daily if the walk doesn’t appeal to you and take you to the ski lift OR the one at Frachey. Also Ski 2 have a ski deposit under the lift so you don’t have to carry ski poles, boots and ski’s through the village. Breakfasts here are plentiful and delicious, evening meals are good quality if a little repetitive in terms of ingredients if not looks and certainly Veal, Cheese and Ham are very popular! The quality and volume is excellent, but would benefit from a little more variety, that said, you certainly won’t be hungry!

Fantastic hotel for us! The bedroom set-up for our family was great, the 3 children were up on a mezzanine area with a separate bathroom which helped in the morning! The hot tub was fantastic and allows entry for children up to 5.30pm. The spa area looked amazing too, I wish we had had more time to properly have a look around! The food in the hotel restaurant was outstanding, 4 course meal every night! And the children were so well catered for too. I can’t rate this hotel highly enough to be honest.

This was our 4th year this year with Relais Des Glaciers. I love this hotel because of the spa, the hot tub, the food and the lovely Elena. The room we stayed in (our second year in these tooms) on the first floor is lovely, nice and big with a sunny balcony, Our boys stayed in a twin a few doors down. It is full of families with young ish children at school holiday time so if you are one of these then its all good. If you want a quieter time between 6-7.30pm, where you can sit in the bar, have a drink without waiting too long and be able to get on the the chess table or play another one of their many games – think again as it is very busy then. On the flip side the spa is always empty as all the parents are upstairs sorting their children out, and I have always managed to get a lovely massage and pedi without any problems. We are trying a different hotel next year in Champoluc for various reasons (son no. 1 is on his own ski trip so its just the 3 of us) but will miss the Relais very much (might have to nip down for a treatment while I’m there)!

First time staying at Hotel Relais des Glaciers and it is definitely a step up. Amazing food with 4 courses each night. I did struggle to eat all the courses! Very friendly waiting and reception staff. Most comfy bed I have had skiing and slept well for the first time ever at altitude! Bathrooms were a little basic for a 4 star I thought and there wasn’t much storage in the rooms if you are a larger family. Amazing outdoor hot tub. We were here for Easter week so it was very busy with children in and not quite as relaxing as it could have been but indoor spar does not allow children under 16 in so that is more peaceful and has fantastic facilities. Nice bar area and plenty of seats for relaxing in the evening…..Amusing karaoke on 2 nights which seemed to go down well.

An excellent hotel and centrally located in the Town, about ten minutes walk from the gondola.
The food was excellent and the staff most helpful.
My room was comfortable and the bathroom spacious.
I particularly enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, with a great whirlpool and a treat to sit outside in the snow.
    I recommend the Turkish bath.
I had a 4 day stay which was enough for me as a solo skier, it is a family resort and good for relaxing and reading, if your looking for racous nightlife then it’s not for you.
In summary a quality hotel and recommended.

Good location for the Office of Ski2 and the lifts to slopes. The short ten minute walk gets you going. They will bus you if you want but the village is delightful to see. Good food and very pleasant staff who are used to catering for children. 1830hrs is maybe a bit late for some children for supper. Excellent spa and pool. Very good dinner and good choices. Standard bedrooms comfortable but not much space to sit down or move around.
Large drawing room space. Good breakfast to get you going.
The massage was really helpful to ski tired limbs!

We stayed here from the 17th to 24th January 2016. Our party included two vegans and two vegetarians. The food was delicious and most nights at least five courses. The chef was so accommodating to meet our dietary needs. The hotel is spacious, clean and the outdoor hot pool and spa downstairs and absolute treat after a days skiing. We have recently returned from our 2nd stay at Relais. It is a fantastic family friendly hotel where nothing is too much trouble. The outside hot tub is a big hit with kids, the downstairs spa a welcome escape from the kids! The food is plentiful and it caters well for food allergies. Our son has a dairy allergy and it really was not a problem. The staff are so friendly that the general atmosphere is simply relaxed. If I was being really picky, I would say the wifi could do with improvement. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for families.

Another wonderful week – even better rooms and it felt like we had yet again landed in a glorious vaccuum of lovely food, spa, sun and just happy days. Its a bit loud on occasion with younger children rushing around excitedly in the evening but they are all so exhausted by skiing that the hotel is pretty much as quiet as a mouse by 11! Lovely family hotel, this is not a place for a ‘boys’ holiday. Great for children with large hot tub. Spa really nice, somewhere to relax if not skiing. Our room was lovely 206,large comfortable with enough storage, but be aware that some of the twin rooms are very small. The food was good, staff great and nice touches like olives, nuts etc served with drinks in the lounge. All in all would come back which says it all.

Back to the Relais for the 5th year running, and totally delighted with our stay again! The accommodation is very comfortable, and the food & facilities are excellent. However, what really makes this place so good are the staff. They are always so friendly & helpful, and never fail to have a smile on their faces. The only VERY minor niggle is the poor quality of the WiFi connection, but I’m just being super-picky. Can’t wait to come back next year!

This was our second stay at the Relais. Both have been excellent. It caters brilliantly for both adults and children, with an early sitting for the children’s dinner. The outdoor hot tub is a hit with children and adults alike. When necessary it is an easy 10 minute stroll to the gondola up to the crest and the beginners’ area and ski school.
The rooms are a good size and comfortably furnished. If they are too warm at night the heat can be turned down by the reception staff. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful and the food excellent.
We as a family would recommend the Relais des Glaciers without reservation.

Just back from a fantastic one week’s stay at Hotel Relais des Glaciers. There were 3 families in our group and our rooms were on the same floor as requested.

ALL the staff are friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble! Excellent breakfast and dinner choices for both the kids and adults.
Great location for the lifts – we all enjoyed the very picturesque walk each day (and if kids are too tired, Ski 2 are only a phone call away to pick you up!)

The hot tub and spa after a day’s skiing was pure bliss…
We will definitely be returning again in 2015!

We’ve just returned from our second stay at the Relais and our 3rd trip to Champoluc with Ski-2. We’ve had another fantastic holiday and will be returning again.

In our opinion the Relais doesn’t have any weak points.

We had a mezzanine room which was perfect for the four of us, and two bathrooms too which was very helpful. All of the staff are fantastic, extremely welcoming and great with the children. The food was delicious, and with enough choice to cater for everyone. The children’s options ensured that the kids were happy too. The large outdoor hot tub was the icing on the cake – a simply stunning way to soothe aching limbs at the end of a days skiing.

In our years of skiing with children nothing comes close to the combination of Champoluc, the Relais and Ski-2.

We have just returned from a fantastic skiing holiday.

The Relais was everything we had hoped for. The hotel itself was warm and welcoming, the rooms (we had a double and a triple) were clean and comfortable and the hot tub was glorious after a long day skiing. The menu was varied and the wine list extensive!

But what really set the hotel apart was the staff – they were all so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and every request was met with a smile.

    We will definitely return.

  45. The Cook family on

We’ve had a lovely week in Champoluc and found the Relais to be pretty unusual in that it has the outside hot tub (our 2 spent every day 4-5pm in it – its quite a social event) and the Spa. I had 2 treatments and used it when I pulled a muscle and had to duck out for a day, The staff are really nice and the treatments are very reasonably priced. It was pretty empty and very relaxing.

We had a Mezzanine room for 4 which is very good value if you can bear the night time sounds of all of your family slumbering!! The little balcony was perfect for airing the clothes – of which of course we brought far too many for the wonderful hot weather we experienced.

The waitresses in the restaurant were really helpful – especially our favourite, Elena (I think?), who could not do enough for us and was always on duty, morning or evening! Great food too. The 7-8 minute walk up the main street from the hotel to the bubble car up to the slopes was just right to warm our muscles up in time for the skiing, though I could see that if you had little ones then you’d want the very convenient bus.

    All in all – fab.

  46. Leonard Peter on

Everything from our greating to our departure was excellent. Although not a small hotel, the atmosphere was that of a family run establishment. The food was of a good standard and the rooms, although not large, were well set out. The spa was a delight. We came in January and returned in February!!!
    We will return next year.

In particular the menu was excellent. Much more varied and in my opinion more suited to the general palette. The level of service is very high and professional yet still relaxed. (Might be an idea to give guests a little more time between courses).

To echo other comments about children, the staff could not be more accommodating. One breakfast our waitress asked our 3 year old what she would like for dinner, to which she replied “fish fingers please”. I nearly fell off my chair. The waitress simply replied “no problem”.

Our rooms were very comfortable, warm, spacious and spotlessly clean.

The spa and lovely outdoor hot tub provided a welcome relief for aching limbs.

The hotel is about 5mins quick stroll to the lifts. If you have small kids, this is quite a trek with all their gear on. However the hotel shuttle bus was very handy and prompt. And, if you pair this with Ski-2’s impeccable pick up and drop off service, this means being slightly out of the way is no problem at all.

All in all, another great Champoluc holiday with Ski-2, with a big thanks to all at the Relais.

This was my first time in a ski resort; I didn’t know what to expect , and was delighted to be staying in such a lovely hotel. We were lucky enough to be accommodated
in a spacious room, and to have a bath ( instead of a shower unit ).
As others have already said, the spa and hot tub were a great addition to the hotel’s facilities, and much enjoyed.
As a non- skier, there were plenty of options to provide me with activities, and the hotel was a very good base.

I have stayed twice at Relais this year and can’t fault it. It is a very friendly, comfortable hotel and feels a bit like being at home! The service and the food are first class. The combination of this hotel and the excellent service provided by Ski 2 made both skiing holidays a great experience. I will be going back.

We thorougly enjoyed our stay at the Relais. The food was superb and nothing was to much trouble for the staff and we loved the spa after a long day on the slopes. Our only complaint would be that our room was very small we had no option but to put lots of our things on the floor – when staying in a hotel for skiing we think it is very important to have somewhere to put all you stuff and sadly this was not the case. With a bigger room this hotel would be perfect !

  52. F. Brown on

A super hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The food was lovely and the restaurant staff were amazingly accommodating of all the children’s food requests!
I would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate in recommending it to others.

This was our second time, and as pleasant as the first. Excellent (and human) service, great food and plenty of all round comfort. The spa is great and the hot tub perfect for children. Though the hotel is relatively luxurious it is also relaxed – you don’t keep worrying that your children are going to offend against some rule or other. My only criticism: the wi-fi internet access is slow and inadequate – and hardly works at all once several guests start to use it.

Our 8th time with Ski-2 in Champoluc, but our first time at the Relais. A beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff were excellent, very welcoming, helpful & friendly. The food & hotel facilities were perfect. I agree that some of the rooms were slightly small, but that really wasn’t a problem as we spent very little time in the room. The Hot tub was great…..although getting out when it’s below Zero outside was interesting.
would definitely consider staying at the Relais again. Good value for money the food was fab.

We stayed at the Hotel Relais des Glaciers last Easter whilst staying in Champoluc with Ski2.

We found the hotel staff were always very friendly and eager to help. They were also very good with our children too. The facilities at the hotel are also very good, particularly the outdoor jacuzzi which is brilliant.

We liked Champoluc and The Relais so much we’ve booked to go again this season!

Stayed at this hotel twice, and each time been well taken care of. The food is excellent & plentiful, and the staff are very friendly. The spa facilities are a real added bonus, particularly after a had days skiing! The rooms are a little small, but quite comfortable, and well maintained. Short walk to the main ski lift, which is fine in normal shoes. I would definitely recommend.

We have stayed in Champluc three times and this is easily the best hotel. The staff are so accommodating and professional, the rooms are spacious and clean and the food is great. The children loved going into the outdoor hot tub after skiing – but they have restricted children to certain times which is sad as the adults have an amazing adult only spa on the lower ground floor.
However, this hotel combined with the great service of ski 2 means that we will be back!

  58. Ridgway family on

We have stayed here two times. The hotel caters very well for families. The very large spa pool is amazing, and now my children want this facility where ever we stay – a little difficult to accommodate!
The other reason why this hotel is great for families is because of availability of some large rooms with a mezzanine level. Be warned, however, that if you have small children unsteady on their feet yet mobile, the stairs to the mezzanine level are quite steep. There are two options for this type of room, with the double bed on the mezzanine, or on the floor. Just ask at the time of booking.

A well positioned, comfortable and welcoming hotel. Efficient and friendly staff, in particular the restaurant staff who were very accommodating when we had friends over from another hotel for an evening meal. Superb choice and quality of food. The hot tub is a novelty but we preferred the powerful jacuzzi – ideal for pummeling away those aches & pains after a great day skiing. Warm and comfortable sofas to collapse in and enjoy a nightcap before bed!

  60. The Greigs on

We stayed here during the last week of the ski season.
It was a fantastic stay and couldn’t fault it at all.
The food was delicious, the children’s meals were fantastic and 3 courses were devoured every night!
The bedrooms were perfect, had adjacent rooms and used a baby monitor in the evening so we could enjoy our meal downstairs.
The staff were very friendly and couldn’t be more welcoming.
The hot tub was a real hit and a perfect way to entertain the children after skiing all day.
A games room would complete the hotel, but we enjoyed playing card games in the evening whilst having a drink in the bar before kids supper. All in all a very relaxing and happy stay, and we shall definitley be returning. Thank you.

Our party of 8 stayed at Le Relais end of March 2013 and we had a fantastic time. Our children are big enough now so we had adjacent double bedrooms which are comfortable (although on the small size).
    Atmosphere relax and welcoming.
Restaurant staff very nice and attentive, great with children. Food was good and varied.
The spa is absolutely wonderful ! no children, which is great for parents to relax. Children allowed in the outside spa/pool where they had lots of fun everyday after skiing.
Would be nice to have a children / games room for them to gather in the evening.
The only thing missing is a snack/buffet in the afternoon after a hard day skiing.
    Overall good hotel.

First timers to champoluc and young family. Relais de glaciers made it all very very easy. Children enjoyed being well looked after and parents enjoyed happy children. Ski2 delivered way over expectations for service, really appreciated.

What a lovely warm and friendly hotel superbly backed up by the kind and helpful Ski2 team. The staff at the hotel were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and the dining room staff could not have made our stay more welcoming.

I stayed at Hotel Relais des Glaciers for the first time in early March 2013 with a friend who had been 5 times previously and have to say that it more than fulfilled my high expectations. The reception staff were always helpful, the restaurant staff and food always catered for special vegetarian dietary requirements with excellent four course and fresh daily menu, the lounge area was warm relaxing. The rooms were very comfortable and well provided for. The spa facilities in the hotel are very comprehensive and features a large outdoor spa…a great way to end your day on the ski slopes. Overall the atmosphere of a well run ‘family hotel’ and we could not ask for more. We will definitely be going again!

We stayed for the fourth year running at the Relais and once again, it didn’t disappoint us. We were welcomed back like old friends ( can’t think why!) and the staff were as friendly and as accommodating as possible- nothing is too much trouble, even for fussy eaters. The bar is large, but with huge sofas and armchairs it feels very chilled. it is used by guests and locals alike which make it feel very Italian. The spa is heavenly and there is a separate area for adults which is extreeeemly relaxing and surprisingly easy to fall asleep in!
Lovely bedrooms, comfortable beds and ..we will be returning next year.

  66. John Stanford on

Booked the Relais with only 2 weeks notice and had a 5-day break in mid-January. What a relaxing holiday. Whilst the skiing was superb, the Relais looked after us really well – in particular the restaurant staff, the bar and the reception staff – all very friendly. Comfortable surroundings although perhaps quiet (suited us though) with good spa facilities. Rooms were fine, could do with an extra plug socket or two, and we slept like logs after all the fresh air and good food. 10 min walk to the gondola, which is fine when you’re not carrying skis! Will be back to Champoluc next year and certainly wouldn’t be disappointed if we went back to the Relais.

  67. Saskia Jordan on

This is our fourth year at the Relais – need I say more! It is welcoming and relaxed but also calm and peaceful. The food is delicious. Whilst the rooms are not huge they are clean and comfortable.

  68. Denise Gray on

We have visited this hotel over the past few years and would not choose to be anywhere else. Excellent facilities and comfortable and clean rooms, friendly and efficient staff, wonderful restaurant and superb wellness centre. The treatments on offer are very varied and expertly carried out by professional therapists. So welcome after a hard day’s skiing. Counting down the days until we return.

Our second time at Hotel Relais des Glaciers and we were as delighted as the first. It is such a welcoming and friendly hotel with exceptional service. The facilities are very good with the amazing outside pool area a real treat to relax after a hard days skiing!

Food is fantastic, so much so that we ate in every night and the friendly staff made for a really special trip.

We cant wait to retuen next season – thank you!!

  70. Carol Remmers on

The hotel was excellent and great value for money. The breakfasts offered a good choice and the dinners delicious. We made use of the spa facilities every day; the best way to soothe aching legs. The bedrooms were a good size and the location in the village (combined with the boot room provided by Ski2 at the bottom of the lift) made for a lovely walk back to the hotel after a day on the slopes.

We have enjoyed staying in the Hotel Relais de Glaciers twice in the last 2 years. On each occasion the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. It is an incredibly relaxing experience with rooms with wonderful views, delicious meals, warm open fires and a fantastic Spa and outside pool. We were enjoying a short break from our children, and returned home feeling completely refreshed. We will definitely be returning in 2014.

We had a wonderful holiday staying in this hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful. The food was fantastic and the whole family (Lottie 10, Billy 7 and Emily 2) enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub every evening. We would highly recommend staying here. Our best ever family holiday.

  74. Dinwoodie on

This hotel was wonderful and the basement spa certainly made our holiday. Fantastic facility to use at the end of a hard day on the slopes.
The hotel staff were all very friendly and the food was good even if the quantities overwhelmed at times.
We would go back again to this hotel.

  75. Lisa on

First time in Champoluc we stayed in the Relais, and what a treat! the hotel had sooo many attractions! centrally located, nice friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms and a very impressive spa – just perfect after a day on the slopes! . I would definitely recommend 🙂

  76. The Macdonald Family on

The Relais is a great hotel for families, we were actually a bit nervous about it before we arrived as having stayed in Champoluc many times before we had rather a different view of the Relais. It was so friendly and welcoming (just like ski2). Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, we didn’t feel like leapers because we had kids and it all went very well. We cant wait for next year.

the bar bill wasn’t too scary either 🙂

  77. Louise Gledhill on

Fabulous staff very warm, friendly and helpful. The spa area is wonderful after a big days skiing. I can’t fault the room which had plenty of extra space. The food was also excellent and they provided excellent gluten free alternatives.I will definitely be back, but Shh don’t tell everyone

  78. The Tassell family on

The Relais is great for large groups and family of all ages. We’ve stayed here twice now and been thoroughly impressed with the standard of accommodation, the staff are very friendly and will cater for even the fussiest eater! We’re heading back here at Christmas 2013 and am already looking forward to it!

  79. David McGee & Family on

Wonderful hotel with great staff. The family rooms are fantastic, the lobby area is great for pre or post dinner drinks. And that is before I mention the hot tub, the spa, the patisserie, the quality of the food, the care with the kids meals, etc, etc
