Lo Retsignon

These 2 delightful apartments are situated actually on the piste right at the bottom of La Mandria chair. Available either on a self-catering basis, or with breakfast and dinner included.

Hotel features:

Just 60 metres from the top of the Frachey funicular and even closer to the bottom of La Mandria chairlift, the two apartments of Lo Retsignon are perfect for anyone looking for doorstep skiing in the comfort of their own apartment.

Lo Retsignon

The light and bright apartments are timber-clad, leaving them feeling warm and cosy, and they are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Both apartments have Wi-Fi and TV, and come with great kitchens that offer a fridge, dishwasher, induction hob, oven and cupboards full of crockery and cutlery.

If you don’t fancy cooking, then you can choose to take Lo Retsignon on a half board basis. Breakfast is taken in the adjacent restaurant and evening meals are freshly prepared by the staff and left for you each evening to re-heat in your apartment.

Lo Retsignon Restaurant

The terrace at Lo Retsignon is a popular spot to enjoy a well-deserved drink thanks to the wonderful views across the Ayas Valley.

Lo Retsignon exterior

It’s worth bearing in mind that in the evenings there is no access to and from Champoluc village because of the location of Lo Retsignon (the last funicular operates at 1700 hours each evening). Because of this we advise it’s best to call us to discuss your flights or transport before you book so that we can advise you of the best times to arrive. Your luggage will be taken to and from your apartment for you either via the funicular railway or by ski-doo.

Please note: Late arrivals or early departures from this property may incur an extra charge. Please call 01962 713330 to discuss flight times before you book flights.

An immaculately appointed property that worked well for two, one of whom doesn’t ski. Works perfectly if you are self catering as we were.
If looking for catered accommodation, breakfast is available in the restaurant and food for dinner delivered for heating up.
The funicular closes at 5, so Champoluc, the restaurant and the one 100 yards away that takes Ski2 vouchers are not an evening option for food.
Best part was the peace and quiet once the funicular, and skilift 20 yards away, had closed and the mountain felt like yours.
Owner and her daughter very welcoming and food in their restaurant good, although they don’t take vouchers. Du Soleil nearby good , simple grub, with great pizzas if you want to use your vouchers.
V much on our minds to go back next year.

The two apartments at Lo Retsignon are excellent for a large group. Decor inside gives a lovely rustic chalet feel, and it is great to have the mountains all to yourselves in the evening. We ordered a prepared dinner for the first night, which was waiting in the appartment when we arrived. On two other evenings we treated ourselves to dinner out in the nearby marvellous Stadel Sousson restaurant – a 20 minute walk through the woods on mountain tracks. It’s a great location for keen skiers, as you are right on the slopes, so can be first out in the mornings, but if you do want to pop down to Champoluc for shopping, the funicular is close by.
